How good are Australia at the Olympics!

A big shout out to all the Olympians who have kept us glued to our screens for the last 10 days. What a magnificent display of athleticism, skill and behaviour. All participants and their support teams have been a credit to Australia under the most trying of circumstances. We look forward to continuing success and sporting celebration this week and throughout the Paralympics.

With 10 years to Brisbane we could not have asked for a better sporting platform to build upon. The Club looks forward to celebrating these achievements and continuing to promote sport for all in the months and years to come.

The main event is here - The Tokyo Paralympics

The Club has sent it's best wishes for a successful Paralympics to Club member Lynne Anderson CEO of Paralympics Australia and all our Paralympians  in Japan over the next two weeks. We have been privileged over the years to hear from many of the Paralympic athletes and their stories of amazing resilience in the face of adversity. A special mention to Club Ambassador Michael Roeger. Already an Paralympic bronze medallist Michael's ultimate goal is to win a Paralympic gold medal, and as the current T46 world record holder in the 1500m, 5000m and marathon, he has never looked a better shot.
