The Gallery dug deep, deeper than they've dug before...but it wasn't deep enough. In the annual Pollies v Press sports week the parliamentarians went close to achieving a white wash. The Gallery averted the big zero when tennis aces Lukas Coch and John Kehoe defeated Nationals pairing of Kevin Hogan and Darren Chester and drew with Labour's Albanese and Khalil. It was a good job they did because elsewhere the Gallery went down to a rampant parliamentary squad in Touch Football, Soccer and Netball. Even the banker sports of cricket and swimming went to the pollies with the Coalition securing the swimming and the 2019 intake of  Rennick, Connelly, Conaghan, Martin and McIntosh leading the way.  Coach Laming's training sessions clearly paying dividends.
